some stuff I've discovered while scouring theories from adventchildren.net before the movie came out:

A lot of people thought Kadaj was straight up Young Sephiroth.

A LOT of people thought the "wheelchair person" was Sephiroth himself.

Some people even thought they could be Hojo or Lucrecia.

A lot of people argued AGAINST Rufus being the wheelchair person because he A. was dead or B. would never work together with Sephiroth.

^ to clarify above statement, the trailers made people think the wheelchair person was CONTROLLING the remnants.

there was a theory forum entirely dedicated to ranting that gunblades would never be in ff7 (since at that point it was revealed that Yazoo's guns were gunblades)

When all three remnants were revealed, some people thought they were clones or even "failed Sephiroth prototypes."

i saw one theory in particular that said "maybe Sephiroth was just in a gang of some kind that all had silver hair" which made me giggle

the remnants were often referred to as SHM (silver haired men) because they didn't exactly have a group name yet

The Remnants' names were spelled in romaji next to their confirmed English names (Kadaju, Rozzu, and Yazu)

people on this site were really aggressive about their theories. most of them straight up started with "you're all WRONG" before spewing a completely incorrect theory

A few of you might remember the Shinra photo book which I've been chipping at for almost eight years now...

Well, the end is finally in sight - I've formatted the images into a book, making updates to the oldest completed pictures, and adding the final new images to round off the pictorial narrative.

Ways to get copies of the book will be posted closer to release date. In the meantime, consider joining us on Patreon where there are more WIPs and insights, and all the finished 'photos' are available as prints on the higher tier.
